Cheaper broadband and phone packages

Social tariffs are cheaper broadband and phone packages for people claiming Universal Credit, Pension Credit and some other benefits.

We have joined Good Things Foundation which allows us to offer digital inclusion services to our tenants, including beginner digital skills training.

Digital Skills Workshops
Progress Futures is delivering digital workshops every Thursday at The Base II community centre in Broadfield, from 10am until 12pm, helping tenants to boost their digital skills.

Find out more about our Progress Futures digital workshops in the events section here: Progress Futures | Progress Housing Group

Free online financial and pension learning
Good Things Foundation offers free online learning called Learn My Way, created with the People's Partnership. Topics include the basics of getting online, managing your money online, claiming and applying for Universal Credit, employment and work and pension basics.

You can access this by visiting Explore the subjects | Learn My Way Tenants and their household members can sign up to the Learn My Way website choosing ‘Progress Housing Association Ltd’ as the online centre, or by attending the digital skills sessions where they can be supported to set up their Learn My Way accounts and with accessing the online learning and information.

If you are struggling to afford access to broadband at home, please contact our Tenancy Sustainability Team by calling 0333 320 4555.

We also have a limited number of free SIM cards to give to tenants who are struggling to afford data at home and are working with either the Tenancy Sustainability Team or Progress Futures.

Alternatively, O2, with Good Things Foundation, is offering free O2 mobile data, texts and calls to people who can't always afford large amounts of data.
Visit any O2 store and get an O2 SIM.
